Ms. Bun earned her Juris Doctorate at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Honor List recipient and was twice awarded the prestigious Witkin Award for Academic Excellence.  While in law school Ms Bun was a staff writer on The Transnational Lawyer Law Journal, Executive Director of the International Law Society, a member of the McGeorge Willem WIS International Moot Arbitration Team and the McGeorge Asian/Pacific American Law Students Association. Ms. Bun also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West where she was an Honors Intern and received the Excellence in Care Award.  Ms. Bun’s professional experience includes working as a licensed chiropractor and a State of California appointed Qualified Medical Examiner. Ms. Bun’s accomplishments include receiving a Certificate of Advanced Study & Training in Mediation and in Dispute Resolution from Tulane University School of Law and the Institut für Anwaltsrecht an der Humbodlt-Universität zu Berlin, Berlin, Germany. Ms. Bun is active in the local community, including the Asian Pacific Rim Foundation, Sacramento Chinese Community Service Center and Sacramento Taiko Dan.  For her volunteer efforts, Ms. Bun has received the Grace Valle Award-CPR Volunteer of the Year Award, American Red Cross. Ms. Bun is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
